The first luxury sport car from Lexus, the Lexus LFA will be auctioned off

2 units of Lexus LFA will be auctioned off by Indonesian Lexus Principle. The first luxury sport car from Lexus that firstly introduced at the 41^st Tokyo Motor Show 2009 will produced by end of year 2010 in limited stock of 500 units. Indonesia through the Lexus Principle, PT. Toyota Astra Motor will receive 2 units of quota that plan will be sold by auction so that no customer who felt disappointed.

By way of this car auction, only customer who offers the highest price will get the first luxury sports car from Lexus. In Japan itself, the Lexus LFA sold for 37 million yen or about 4 billion rupiah. And certainly the selling price in Indonesia would be well above that price, because so many of the tax levied, import duty, luxury tax, and others.

Lexus LFA is made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) which make body be 100 kilogram lighter if made of aluminum. The luxury sports car is also environmentally friendly cars (green car) because body materials can be recycled up to 95% of the original.
Using a 4.800 cc engine – V10 with rear wheel drive, the Lexus LFA can travel speed 0-100 km / hour in 3.7 second with a maximum speed up to 325 km / hour. The engine is made of aluminum alloy, titanium and magnesium.

The present of Lexus LFA will create competition in the sports car segment increasingly crowded and will be dealing directly with the Mercedes SL55, Aston Martin DB9, Ferrari 430 and Porsche 911.
