What’s in 2010 Detroit Auto Show – January 11 – 24, 2010?

During the exhibition 2010 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS 2010) or who is often called the Detroit Auto Show, which runs from 11 to 24 January 2010, displayed a lot of concept cars and electric cars from the world’s car manufacturers. International auto show which is held each year is used by the world’s car manufacturers, especially the American’s car to show their latest technology.
Ford, as one of the largest American car manufacturer, shows New Ford Focus which is a third generation of this sporty hatchback and produced for the auto world market, both North America, Europe and around the world. 3rd Generation of the Ford Focus has been to apply the typical Ford’s Kinetic design. Besides that, Ford also introduced nine new engines and six transmissions for all cars made by Ford. One of whom is “2.0-liter engine with direct injection” which will be attached to the latest generation of the Ford Focus.
2010 Detroit Auto Show | Chevrolet Beat
While other American car manufacturers, General Motors introduced a new hatchback car is the Chevrolet Aveo RS which is a modified version of the Chevrolet Aveo standard. Aveo RS appearance looks very sporty with design changes to the exterior (front and rear bumpers, air dam, headlamp, rear lamp) is increasingly strong. Besides Chevrolet Aveo RS with more powerful 1.4-liter Ecotec engine capable achieve 138 HP and 200 Nm torque.
Japanese car manufacturer, Toyota also took part in the event the Detroit Auto Show by displaying Toyota FT-CH which is a hybrid concept car. Toyota FT-Hybrid Concept was designed at Toyota’s European Design Center in France and the estimated selling price will be cheaper than Toyota Prius and marketed in 2015 (estimated).
The exhibition of auto world is also used by car manufacturers from China that is BYD (Beyond Your Dream) which displays BYD F3DM plug-in electric hybrid car. BYD is part owned by investor Warren Buffet is the fourth largest automobile manufacturer in China and famous for its electric car products. BYD F3DM using 1.0-liter gasoline engine and electric motor combined with and capable of producing up to 168 horses power and 400Nm of torque.
Are only those cars that appear in the Detroit Auto Show? No, international auto exhibition is also displaying concept cars and hybrid cars or electric car from other car manufacturers such as Honda CR-Z, Audi E-Tron, Volkswagen New Concept Coupe, Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet, Cadillac CTS and XTS , Mini Beachcomber, Lancia Delta, Buick Regal GS, and much more.
