Honda All New City - Top Selling in Mini Sedan

All Honda product line up dominates Indonesia auto market. Honda cars sales in May 2009 are booked 2,821 units, slight increasing compare to 2,814 units last month. Total Honda cars sale in January up to May 2009 period was 12,624 units, controlled 7.4% of the Indonesia auto market and ranked fifth after Toyota, Daihatsu, Mitsubishi, and Suzuki.

Honda All New Jazz, the famous city car sold 1,422 units in May and total sale in 2009 was 6,418 units. The sales achievement of Honda All New Jazz makes 51% of Honda cars sales. In year 2009, All New Honda Jazz successes to defend 58% market share in Medium City Car segment, increasing compare to 45% market share in 2008.

Despite All New Honda Jazz offers more expensive price than competitors, All New Honda Jazz still reached high sales volume and far away its competitors such as Toyota Yaris, Suzuki Swift, Daihatsu Sirion, and Cheverolet Aveo. Honda All New Jazz available in four variants (Standard MT/AT and RS MT/AT) with price range between IDR 196 Mills up to IDR 221.5 Mills.

As well as All New Honda Jazz, Honda All New CRV become to the second biggest contributors and reached 4,294 units sales volume or 34% of Honda Cars Sales 2009. In May 2009 alone, Honda All New CRV sold 959 units. With total sales in 2009, Honda All New CRV controlled 42% markets share in Medium SUV.

Honda All New City successful as a market leader in Mini/Low Sedan segment with 1,073 unit’s sales, controlled 35% market share. In May 2009 alone, Honda All New City sold 242 units, slight increasing compare to 231 units last month. Meanwhile, Honda New Civic sales increasing 17% compare to last month and achieve 164 units booked sales. With this sales achievement Honda New Civic booked 571 units sales and controlled 64% market share in Medium Sedan segment.
