Placed at Ritz-Carlton Ballroom, Pacific Place, Jakarta, PT. Honda Prospect Motor is releases Freed by June 29, 2009. With tagline: It’s a New Life. Let’s FREED! Honda offer New Style, New Space, New Atmosphere, New Level of Luxury and Comfort, New Level of Safety, and New Performance of seven-seater MPV. Indonesia is the first country outsides Japan has been launch it’s after firstly introduced in Japan by May 2008.

Honda Freed offer in two variants, standard and full spec. The highest variants already equipped by Power sliding door, Grille Chrome & Plate License Chrome, Arm rest for driver’s seat, Dual Airbag, and Pretensioner with Double Load Limiter.

The engine using i-VTEC 1.5 liter engine with 118 PS/6,600rpm and 144Nm/4,800rpm. Its same engine with Honda All New Jazz (Medium City Car/Hatchback) and Honda All New City (Mini Sedan).

Honda Freed marketed only in automatic transmission because of market data, most of Honda customers choose AT variants as their cars. Its offers in six colors: Luminous Blue Pearl, Alabaster Silver Metallic, Brilliant White Pearl, Basque Red Pearl, Crystal Black Pearl, and Polished Metal Metallic.

PT. Honda Prospect Motors expect to grab some market share of MPV segments which dominates by Toyota Avanza, Toyota Kijang Innova, and Nissan Grand Livina. Totally sales volume of MPV segment in last year is 230,000 units or 38% from Indonesia auto market those 607,770 units.
