Toyota Yaris beat Honda Jazz, sold 1,033 units in July ‘09

Toyota Yaris beat Honda Jazz, sold 1,033 units and reached 43.5% in July ’09. Toyota Yaris sales in July are the highest in this year and 44% higher than June sales which only reached 716 units. This means the first time Toyota Yaris sold more than a thousand units cars. The total sales of Toyota Yaris in this year, from January to July amounted to 3,336 units and make his position to remain on the 2nd position in Medium City Car Segment with 21.6% market share.
While sales of the All-New Honda Jazz in July 2009 only 891 units that decreases 14% from sales in June which sold more than 1.032 units. Although only reaching 37.5% market share of sales in July, Honda All New Jazz remains a leader in the Medium City Car with a total car sales in 2009 reached 8.341 this is 54% units or market share.
While other models in this segment, could not pursue the sale of the Toyota Yaris and Honda Jazz. Meanwhile Suzuki Swift sold only 274 units in the month of July with total sales in 2009 reached 2.371 units or 15.3%.
