Honda Freed sales increasing 17% from last month

Honda Freed Launch in Indonesia
Honda Freed sales in August 2009 books 1,786 units sales and increasing 17% from last month sales that only reached 1,521 units sales. After official launch in June 2009, Honda Freed, the newest MPV from PT. Honda Prospect Motor, continued to increase sales. In first month, June 2009, Honda Freed sold 340 units that increase to 1,521 units in July and sells 1,786 units in August 2009. So in total sales of Honda Freed have books 3,647 unit’s sales.
Despite the vehicle production capacity of Honda Freed continued to increase, PT. Honda Prospect Motor as sole distributor of Honda in Indonesia admitted was still difficult to meet the customer waiting list. When Indonesia-Cars.com ask to some Honda authorized dealer about the customer waiting list (indent list), they inform that if we books today we will get the car by October of November. Wow….it’s so long!
Meanwhile the total sales of Honda cars in August 2009 reached 4,625 units and up 30% from last month’s sales of 3,547 units recorded. So in total sales of Honda cars in Indonesia auto market have books 23,426 unit’s sales and makes Honda stand at the fifth largest car makers in Indonesia automotive industry after Toyota, Daihatsu, Mitsubishi and Suzuki.
Honda New CRV sales increase recorded the highest reaches 85% of sales in July. In August ’09, Honda New CRV books 1,138 units’ sales while 614 units’ sales in last month. Honda All New Jazz also recorded the high reaches 40% of sales in last month. In August ’09, Honda All New Jazz books 1,249 units’ sales while 891 units’ sales in last month.
As a total wholesales, Honda All New Jazz is still the biggest contributor to Honda cars sales in Indonesia with 41% of its sales that followed by Honda New CRV with 29.5% and Honda Freed with 15.6% of its sales.
