Although not performance in Indonesia International Motor Show 2009, PT. General Motor AutoWorld Indonesia (GMAWI) gives a surprise to lovers of Chevrolet’s muscle car. GMAWI as sole distributor of Chevrolet cars in Indonesia, show off the New Chevrolet Camaro 2010 and Chevrolet Camaro Z28 1972 in Jakarta, Bandung and Surabaya, three of the largest town in Indonesia.

Chevrolet Camaro is acting as Bumblebee in the movie “Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen” is expected to be imported from Shanghai, China that GM’s principal office for the Asia Pacific region.

In Indonesia, Chevrolet Camaro is not only present in shopping center exhibition. Actually the car will be visiting some university/college, point of young crowd, and convoy in Main Street of Jakarta.

The cars convoy was titled “Music Cruising Camaro Town” has purpose turned out to be to introduce the design and technology of the Chevrolet. In addition, this event can make the Chevrolet brand closer to its customers and automotive community in Jakarta.

In this convoy, the New Chevrolet Camaro 2010 will be accompanied by Chevrolet Captiva Diesel AWD, 2 units of Chevy Aveo Prime, and 2 units of Chevrolet Estate.

18 to 23 August 2009 : Senayan City, Jakarta

26 August 2009 : Camaro conyoy in Main Street of Jakarta

27 to 30 August 2009 : Bandung

31 Aug to 6 Sep 2009 : Plaza Tunjungan, Surabaya

The New Chevrolet Camaro 2010 priced about two billion rupiah but not for sell in this time. The new Chevrolet’s muscle car has 6,200 cc petrol engines with 420 horse power. Unfortunately the car could only be touched by the automotive lovers, can not be driven.
