New Suzuki Karimun Estillo Coming Soon in October 2009

New Suzuki Karimun Estillo | Best Selling City Car
PT. Suzuki Indomobil Sales, sole distributor of Suzuki cars in Indonesia, prepare New Suzuki Karimun Estillo launch. The facelift model plans to release in mid of October 2009 and will be replace current model that launched in May 2007. In Low City Car Segment, Suzuki Karimun Estillo head to head with Kia Picanto, Hyundai i10, Proton Savvy and Chery QQ. And until August 2009, Karimun Estillo is best selling city car in Indonesia and still leads the market with 41% market share.
New Suzuki Karimun Estillo will equipped by new 1.0 liter engine that smaller from current engine. Its purpose to get fuel efficiency that claimed could be reach 1 liter for 18.2 kilometer. Meanwhile the current model use 1,061 cc engines and 4 cylinders.
Same with current model, the new car will imported from India in CBU (Completely Built Up). In India country New Karimun Estillo, its called New Zen Estillo, just launch in August 2009 and available in three variants i.e. LX, LXi and VXi.
Suzuki Indonesia state the price of new models will 10% higher than current model that sold Rp. 127,750,000,- and its mean estimate priced at Rp. 140 million.
Let’s wait if New Suzuki Karimun Estillo will remain a market leader in city car segment.
