November Sales of Mitsubishi Pajero Sport exceed 1,200 units

The competitors of Pajero Sport SUV should be to worry if they knew how many Pajero Sport which sold in November. PT. Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors as the sole distributor of Mitsubishi cars in Indonesia said that they had sold 1.200 units of the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport in November 2009. This figure is the highest since that Sport Utility Vehicle was first launched in June 2009.

If we see the trend of sales per month then the Pajero Sport graph shows increases every month. In June sold 314 units, then 208 units in July, August 304 units, 196 units September, October and 326 units units in November 1200, so that this SUV sale during the year 2009 has reached 2,548 units.

Indeed since it was introduced to the national auto market, the Pajero Sport demand continues to increase. Evenly the high of market demand for making PT. KTB difficult to meet the market demand due to limited production capacity. Originally PT. KTB only is expected to sell this SUV about 200 units per month, later revised to 500 units per month. But despite the sales target was increased and also increased production capacity, market demand was still high. This allows the customer waiting lists remain long until January 2010. Ford release New Ranger and New Everest together by today!

PT. Ford Motor Indonesia release New Ford Ranger and New Ford Everest to Indonesia auto market by today, June 25, 2009. Its make market segment of SUV, Double Cabin and Pick Up 4X4 to be increasingly tight. After Mitsubishi launch Mitsubishi Pajero Sport last week, and now Ford release New Everest, Toyota Fortuner should be aware, since High SUV (Diesel Engine) will be tighter.

New Ford Everest marketed in 4 variants, XLT Manual Transmission (cheapest) Rp 323 Mills, XLT Automatic (Rp 338 Mills), LTD AT (Rp 353 Mills) and XLT 4X4 AT (Rp 403,5 Mills). For 4X4 type has a big different with 4X2 type because of luxury tax is higher.

New Ford Everest use 2.5 liter Duratorq TDCi Diesel Engine, Common Rail, Direct Injection, DOHC 16 valve with turbocharger. With this performance, its has maximum power 143 PS (105kW) @ 3.500 rpm and maximum torque 33,7 Kgm (330Nm) @ 1.800 rpm.

Livina : Three musketeers from Nissan

Nissan Grand Livina in Indonesia International Motor Show 2007

The three of Livina (Grand Livina, Livina XR, Livina X-Gear) contributes almost 80% (25,2207units) to total Nissan cars sales in period January ~ December 2008. In this period, Nissan has been sold 31,881 units and controlled 5.2 percent of the Indonesia auto market and ranked sixth in the car market in Indonesia after Toyota (34.8 percent), Mitsubishi (14.4 percent), Daihatsu (12.8 percent), Suzuki (12 percent) and Honda (8.6%).

PT Nissan Motor Indonesia (NMI), the sole agent for Nissan in Indonesia, said that sales of Nissan cars in 2008 increased by 12,851 units or 68% from the figure in 2007. Nissan cars sales in 2007 reached 19,030 units and controlled 4.4% from 434,313 units total industry volume.

The high sales achievement of Nissan cars inseparable from three of Livina. Nissan Grand Livina firstly introduced by April 5, 2007 and sales until December 2007 reached 13,606 units. Its make Nissan cars sales in 2007 jump from sales in 2006 reached 4,006 units with only 1.3% market share from 318,925 units total industry volume 2006.

In December 2007, Nissan launched Nissan Livina XR (5 seater) which use same platform with Grand Livina. PT. NMI reverts to launch new Livina variant, Nissan Livina X-Gear by April 2008.
