New Chevrolet Aveo Prime Launch in Aug 26, 2009
By today, August 26, 2009, PT. GM AutoWorld Indonesia release New Chevrolet Aveo Prime that up-grade of New Aveo that was launched in May 2008. The presence of New Chevrolet Aveo, mainly hatchback of GM, make the market of Medium City Car is getting crowded. Currently this segment dominates by Toyota New Yaris, Honda All New Jazz, Suzuki Swift, Nissan Livina XR and Hyundai i20.

Toyota Yaris beat Honda Jazz, sold 1,033 units and reached 43.5% in July ’09. Toyota Yaris sales in July are the highest in this year and 44% higher than June sales which only reached 716 units. This means the first time Toyota Yaris sold more than a thousand units cars. The total sales of Toyota Yaris in this year, from January to July amounted to 3,336 units and make his position to remain on the 2nd position in Medium City Car Segment with 21.6% market share.
