New Kia Pride Launched to Indonesia Auto Market
After the success of New Picanto, sole distributor of Kia cars in Indonesia, PT. KMI (Kia Mobil Indonesia) launch one of new cars named New Kia Pride. The official launch placed at Paris Van Java Mall in Bandung, West Java on June 23, 2010. The New Kia Pride equipped with the 1.4-litre engine, 16 valve DOHC and CVVT technology. This new car able to reach maximum power of 90PS at 2,800 rpm, while the maximum torque of 12.8Kgm at 3,000 rpm.
The engine of New Kia Pride use an European technology, not only powerful but also efficient fuel consumption and eco-friendly since already passed the emission test with the EURO 2 standard.
New Kia Pride itself has the new design of elegant, stylish, and sporty. The difference between the old cars Kia Pride with New Kia Pride we can see from the exterior and interior of its more recent appearances. For the exterior of the front grille, New Kia Pride has used the concept of ‘Tiger Nose’ and also have using foglamp with a more box shape sporty. In interior of New Kia Pride is claimed more quiet than the old version of Kia Pride. Honda Indonesia export 1,000 units Freed to Thailand

After exporting Honda Freed to Singapore and Brunei automobile market, PT. Honda Prospect Motor plan to deliver 1,000 units Freed to Thailand automobile market. This is the first largest export Honda Freed produced in Indonesia. Honda factory in Karawang – Indonesia is trusted by Honda to be the principal production base of this Honda MPV pride to the ASEAN region (Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippine, and others).

The car export of Honda Freed to Thailand is scheduled today, Monday, December 14, 2009. Freed produced in Karawang – West Java already has a local content to 45%. Local components to be placed in 1.5-liter MPV is among tires, glass, seats, and rubbers.
