Astra International – Peugeot Sales Operation as sole agents (ATPM = “Agen Tunggal Pemegang Merk”) of Peugeot cars in Indonesia has officially introduced the New Peugeot 207.

Japanese Cars still led 2009 National Auto Market

Indisputable those Japanese cars are still the belle of the national auto market. In the year 2009 had just passed, the national automobile market is dominated by Japanese cars to 95% of the total industry volume. While the remaining 5% contested by other brands from Europe car, America car, Korea car, Malaysia and China. Of the total new car sales in the year 2009, ranked from 1 to 8 are occupied by Japanese brands respectively, Toyota, Daihatsu, Mitsubishi, Suzuki, Honda, and so on.
Toyota cars dominates national auto
Toyota still led the car market in Indonesia with 38.4% market share or sales units 186,687. This means that Toyota’s market share has grown 3.5% from last year that only 34.9%. Although overall sales of new cars Toyota negative corrected to 12% of sales in 2008 which reached 211,910 units, this is still an achievement for the industry average should even out its sales to 20%. Volkswagen release 2 variants of VW Golf GTi

By today (05/11/2009) and placed at Buddha Bar, Menteng – Jakarta, PT. Garuda Mataram Motor, sole distributor of Audi and Volkswagen in Indonesia, just release 2 new variants of Golf GTi. These new cars are 6th generation of Golf GTi that firstly introduced in year 1976.
VW Golf GTi
Both of VW Golf GTi is equipped by 2.0-liter-engine with Turbocharger and Direct Injection technology and Exclusively TSI from Volkswagen. With this engine the VW Golf GTI can have a maximum power 210 PS @ 5,300 rpm and maximum torque of 230 Nm @ 1,750 rpm, while maximum speed reaches 238 km / hour and can accelerate from 0-100 km / hour in just 6.9 seconds.
