Honda Cars Sales in July 09 is increase 35% from June sales, and 43% of it’s contributes by Honda Freed, the newest MPV from Honda. Honda Freed sales in July ‘09 have book 1,521 units while June sales only booked 340 units. Meanwhile, a total Honda cars sale in July 09 was 3,547 units, increase 35% from 2,630 units in June 2009. Honda delivers 340 units FREED since launch by June 29, 2009!

After launch by June 29, 2009, Honda Freed already delivered 340 units to dealers (wholesales). Whereas only 2 days! It’s completed Honda cars sales in June 2009 to become 2,630 units. Total Honda cars sale in January up to June 2009 period was 15,254 units.
Marketing & After Sales Service Director of PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM), Mr. Jonfis Fandy believes that Honda Freed will contributes to Honda cars sales in Indonesia, as big as Honda All New Jazz (Medium City Car) and Honda New CRV (High SUV). In this time, Honda Freed already books 2,688 sales booking, and targeted 6,000 units’ sales in year 2009. Despite Honda Freed release later than competitors such as, Toyota Avanza, Toyota Kijang Innova, and Nissan Grand Livina, PT. HPM indeed Honda Freed could be accepting in Indonesia auto market, especially in Multi Purpose Vehicle segment.

Honda cars line up dominates market

Honda All New City - Top Selling in Mini Sedan
All Honda product line up dominates Indonesia auto market. Honda cars sales in May 2009 are booked 2,821 units, slight increasing compare to 2,814 units last month. Total Honda cars sale in January up to May 2009 period was 12,624 units, controlled 7.4% of the Indonesia auto market and ranked fifth after Toyota, Daihatsu, Mitsubishi, and Suzuki.
