European cars will be cheaper, Import duties will be reduced

By Tuesday, September 29, 2009, the Indonesian delegation, represented by the Director of Land Transport Equipment and Aerospace, Ministry of Industry Industry, Mr. Susanto Panggah went to Brussels, Belgium. Together with some businessmen and other government officials, they met with representatives of the European Union to discuss about bilateral cooperation agreements in the economic field.

One of the agenda to be discussed is the cooperation in the automotive sector include reduction of import duty vehicles imported from Europe to Indonesia. With the decline in import duties is expected to price a European car more competitive with the price of Japanese cars. Read more…
